Put yourself in the position of the viewer of this photograph. Some viewers will have their attention drawn to the clouds in the background. Some viewers allow their gaze to fall on the hills and the valley. Some viewers will zero in on the details of one of the many trees or shrubs on the hills or in the valley. Some viewers will use their imagination to place themselves into this photograph right in the foreground standing in the tall grass. Perhaps they are standing still or walking along making a new path that has never been walked by any other person before today. They walk at their own pace.

This is how I perceive the walking speed in a virtual world. We need every part of the photograph to appreciate all that the photographer wanted us to experience. The photographer was careful to create a complete photograph.

We need every walking speed in our experiences. Walk, Jog, and Run are not enough.

We also need a Slow Walk.

We need them all.
